Limiter is about 7100rpm I rev mine to 7000 all the time. It might runs a bit better with the colder plug

Yeah you dont get much pull from the s/c at all and not that smooth , until you realise you can go up a steep incline in 5th gear at 1500rpm haha. I would try to sort out the misfire, try an ngk Bpr7E plug

The thing is I never used to get black smoke just the odd small blue puff.Its using a serious amount of fuel even normal road driving like more than my Impreza (2.5) . If I turn the boost up past 0.9bar it will run 10:1 afr . The car was mapped for 1.2bar 6 years ago with a afr of 11.5 the whole...

The link you have put up is conflicting other information that says used mode 4 to exit not mode 1

Got my problem sorted , it was the ignition module. From what I have read if it faulty you get no spark at all but other site say it gradually gets worse until it wont do high rpm under load. Happy f'ing days

Well I have been working on these cars for 10 years so i'll stick to what I know. Dont take me advice if you dont want to. If your lights are flashing while the engine is running , its still in one of the diagnostics mode and may not run correctly

Yes but to exit from all the diagnostic modes, you need to enter mode 4 and the then turn the screw anti clockwise, then turn the ignition off. When you turn it on again both green and red lights shoud be on , when you start the engine they go out and do not come on during normal running...

Your ecu is in diagnostic mode also there is no knock sensor on these engines man
