    Cutting springs?

Cutting springs is about the most pikey thing you can do to lower it. On par with slabs of concrete in hte boot. Buy proper lowering springs if you want it lower. Cutting them would be an MOT fail to a sharper eyed MOT inspector.

Dashboard blue/red coolant temperature light - not blue on my new K12?

The 2008 models are different to the earlier one, I know the key programming is completely different due to the NATS setup, not convinved the 2008 model should have the blue light unless someone with that or newer posts up a picture,

So, how do you get out of your car?

Yeah, I've got in and out of a lotus elise, not very dignified if you are on the taller side.

Sometimes just clicking..? No crank no start..

Battery or alternator, clicking is usually the starter trying to start, and then pulling the battery right down to the point it releases the solenoid. Check the voltage with the car off, then with engine running to see if it's the alternator or not. Post back the voltages.

    Smart key

Depends on the age of the car, there was a change around 2008 where they have a more difficult NATS system used. There are two parts to it, the immobiliser part and central locking part, treated independently by the car. Even non-nissan companies charge about £150 for coding.

    New on this

You should be able to check the insurance before you do it, I think you'll find it will be far too expensive to insure after, and cheaper to sell the car and buy one with a bigger engine.

    Vauxhall engine swap

We are specifically talking about the engine, I've owned many of them from the 80-90's era and most are very good engines, with a few excepitonal engines.

    Vauxhall engine swap

The C20XE and C20LET from the 80's and 90's were two of the finest engines made in the era. Your ignorance is astounding on car knowledge.

Dashboard blue/red coolant temperature light - not blue on my new K12?

I dont have a manual for it, never came with one. I'm suspecting that the newer ones dont have the blue light, would be good if someone with a newer one that has the blue light could confirm.
