So my main question is what's the best way to boost the compression ratio?

Thanks already :)Hi Frank. I had 1.0 Micra auto. I put instead a 1.3 engine with manual gearbox. I kept the original 1.0 auto engine wiring and the car doesnt start with the 1.3 ECU but it does start with the original automatic 1.0 ECU.
Should I change the entire engine wiring and put the 1.3 engine wiring?
The car doesn't seem to run OK with 1.0 auto ECU and 1.3 engine

I am very interested in the steel wheels that I've been told you make. I mean the ones that look exactly like the standard steel wheels on K11's but are larger and more deep dished. Can you please give me more information about these wheels and how much for me to purchase a set, any help is greatly appreciated.

Hello Frank. I have a 1.0 k11 from '94 and I want to put a 1.3 gearbox because I want to upgrade my clutch...put a bigger/better one. It will fit a '98 gearbox from a 1.3 engine? I've do some research and (correct me if I'm wrong) the best way is to install them with the complete corsa b top mount (spacer, bearing, top mount and the piece that hold the top mount to screw it) right? And do you know where i can order them? Or do i have to get a complete corsa b strut. Hey man, one of the old members, P Bobby (John), told me that you lightened his flywheel a while ago for his 1 litre? Was just wondering how much you'd do it for? CheersFrank, I bet this happens alot. But i need a few questions answered prior to a CG13 conversion. Any help you could give me would be great. Mainly about bits bolting on to my new 1300 from my original 1000.
1. Will my original exhaust manifold fit?
2. Are the throttle bodies the same?

hi mate i noticed ur only about an hour from where i live (glos) maybe we ould meet up need abit of help with my engine :/ its hunting and the eml is on i hooked up a diagnostic to it and its saying it runs to lean :S aparently its a throttle bodie and the sensor thats nakered what do you think i heard your like a micra yoda2nd bit switch off and leave car and red led comes on. engine will just spin and not start without pressing the unlock butten first. I feel little vulnerable as it came with one fob and one key. Ive had a key cut but the fob is the issue. can i but a n old rover two button lucus fob from ebay and pregram it myself in some way.. Any help appreciated michhiya really new to micra ownership bought one for my 17 yr old daughter. To the point. It has an immobiliser and no central locking. A little red light in front of the hand brke and waht looks like an old rover two button fob. anyhoe press unlock on the fob and the red led goes out and all ok to start car.
any idea where i could get a pre nats harness from?
