Fan is switched by a different sensor than the guage one. Their are two plugs just behind the distributor/(where the dizzy should go if you've got coil packs) un plug the 2 wire clip. Fan should come on
Aah ill give it a miss then. Just need to find the cause of the gearstick rattle now. could be the incorrect bolt I used in the linkage cause I couldn't find the original
I used another sensor to check mine (turns out it just wasn't plugged in properly) and i hot swapped them with no running issues, don't think i tried starting it with it unplugged though
Have just unwound clutch cable so that the bite is just above the floor. Can now put most of the power down. I think it'll bed in so I think ill leave it for now and see. Thanks for the help. Will post an update soon
90% sure it went on that way round. Cause I tried it one way and it just didn't sit right. So i think it's on the right way im fully adjusted up atm. Will go out and see if I've just somehow over adjusted it later
Aah turns out the engine temperature sensor wasn't plugged in properly. At least that's stopped the fan running. Its still running rough. But i unplugged injector on cylinder no.2 and it made no difference. So I guess it's running over rich to compensate. Spose its not helped by the fact I've...
