The Interior Styling section...
My K10 interior
Show's Super S seats, Momo steering wheel, interior re-sprayed
black, center console with handbrake and gearstick styling.
Custom made door builds ( still very much work in progress )
My standard LS came with a brown interior, Well the interior
on most K10's isn't great unless you have a March Super Turbo
or the same spec on the interior found in a UK Micra! But brown!
why oh why did Nissan choose Brown????????? Its the most horrid
colour on Earth and everything on the K10 was that colour, it
used to make me feel sick every time I sat in the car! The thing
I did was re-spray my whole interior Black, using Folea Tec interior
spray, problem solved it left a quality finish (p.s. it takes
a while so be patient)
I also added a sports steering wheel also which also helped
the look, but I still wasn't happy. I then saw some sporty race
seat covers. These are the best fit and best quality I have ever
seen! They look like real seats and feel great. I eventually got
some real sports seats from the Super S.
I then also added Race pedals, floor mats, new head unit came
along soon after, a very nice led setup in the dash too! I also
added some more gadgets, such as intermittent wiper system, leds
with interior light! No these did not even come as standard on
the LS :(
A good modification is to add a sun visor, this blocks the sun
for one thing and looks like your car is lower than it is. I used
window tint film and cut it to the exact fit, then added a Revs
decal on the outside of the screen.
If you want, colour coding is a good way to change the interior,
you can do this buy using sprays, sheets of carbon fibre look
plastic sheets. I did this but soon removed it and finished the
car with some more classy mods.
Adding a gear knob, gear gaitor and gearstick cover can make
your interior much sweeter, this is also another recommended mod.
Try looking in Halfords and I'm sure that you will find toys
to show off your interior.
