Now If you own a Micra K10 your probably thinking that no one does

are available to you, I first take you through what I've had done
to mine to alter the exterior of the car.....

That table gives you a rough idea of what costs are involved
in doing a custom made bodykit, but having the whole job done
in one go can usually save you about £300ish
Work in progress shots:
The image show's the Nova GTB front bumper and the
grill cut out, the bonnet scoop was done by a previous body kit
company, of which all parts have been replaced since! You can
see the fibre glass ( darker colour on the bumper ) and to make
this bumper fit isn't too difficult as the nova is a similar shape
to the micra. The grill is a simple job, just remove the the plastic
by cutting it out and smooth with fibre glass.
I had to have the sides of the bumper extending
like this due to mess left behind after the arches where cut to
allow my previous bumper ( Delta evo ) to fit to my car, in other
words they took the cheap and nasty way of fitting it!
This image looks strange as a lot of work was put
into the rear of the car including the tailgate and bumper, again
spoiler was fitted before. The rear bumper was a standard k10
black bumper which had a fiesta number plate recess added and
smoothed all over and then a 106 rear valance smoothed in and
extended. The tailgate had it's number plate lights removed and
number plate housing smoothed in to give a flushed / smoothed
tailgate.
These are delta evo universal side skirts which
were 'stuck' on before by guess who..........yes you guessed it
that famous company! well I had a sill plate put in them to they
fitted straight and also a few other small things done to them
The finished look:
Makes it worth it when you can stand back look at the finished
job and be pleased with the outcome. Thanks goes to Paul @ Melton
Fibre Glass for the great work gone into the car, especially
the rear bumper and tailgate.
Further Body modifications:
Having a bodykit made such as the one above isn't cheap and does
take a lot of time to complete, but you can change the exterior
without having to go to that kind of cost!
This image shows standard front bumper sprayed to match car with
the addition of fog lamps in replace of indicators ( moved to
side lights ) and corner splitter, blue light strips also
This image show's a Seat ibiza valance cut down and bolted on
to the rear bumper, cheap body mod @ £35 plus your effort
making it fit
shows the colour coded standard bumpers with addition of corner
splitters
The Delta evo front bumper can fit on the K10 bumper I advice
having Fibre glass work and re-doing the side arches on the bumper
so it fits directly therefore avoiding arch cutting on the car.
My car with the first Kit fitted looked good but close up you
could see the poor fitment courtesy of a Body styling company,
front bumper had to taken up a few inches
