So after taking our 1996 Micra on 26000km to Mongolia and back on Mongol Rally 18, I'm planning to shine it up and put a bit of kick in it. https://photos.app.goo.gl/1eoujYT3sFmySdRCA
I'm hoping to get some advice on the plan off people here!
1. Replacing CG10 with CG13, keeping original CG10 gearbox
2. Custom plenum fitted to chopped stock inlet manifold. Two CG13 stock throttle bodies top entry to plenum. (Maf may be an issue here. Can an inline maf be used in intake before TBs?)
3. Lightened flywheel 6kg >3.5/4kg
4. Ta Teknix coilovers
5. 15" gold Super RS
6. Quick release clamps on roof rack
7. Custom built bomber seat
8. Momo wheel
A lot of the decisions come down to budget and a lack of GA16s available in Ireland. Looking forward to your thoughts.
