Site down :(

Not 100% sorted yet, although I'm not sure what's causing the slowness now! Originally it was large error logs, but they've been cleared out.

Ticket submitted with the ISP so fingers crossed!
 
yaaaay glad its all sorted now :D well apart from it being slow but we can cope with that for now :laugh: ive sent a few pms to folk on the other micra forum and made a post about this site as wasnt sure what was going on :down: sooooooooo glad its back again :D
 
We use OVH, www.ovh.co.uk - they seem excellent when everything's going well, but then fall to bits when you need support. I may look for an alternative if we get continued problems! James.

I use Big Wet Fish for some of my sites and they're usually solid, and when they do have downtime they always tell you in advance and the customer support is fantastic. I don't work for them or anything, just a happy customer :laugh:
 
I got a problem its showing scroll bars on everyones post??? Is is this site or my laptop?

Just to add to what James posted above, if the problems continue we shall 'again' move host. We did think in our current host that we found a company that could host the MSC without much downtime, on the whole it's been good so far, but support does seem to be lacking from them on technical issues.

So apologies for the downtime, hopefully things won't get any worse with our current host.
 
Just to easy to be a host these days. Cant tell the good ones from the cowboys...

I'm cautiously optimistic that it's improved today, although I'm sure we'll find out soon enough!

I'll go and re-enable chat now :)
 
Dunno if its just my computer but, everytime I click on a thread, the last user to post doesnt show. I have to refresh it once im in the thread for it to show up.
 
The chat's notifications and the forum's notifications aren't in sync. I've read all my PMs but I always get this come up:

Is this normal?
 
I never went offline on the chat, though. I was online on the chat and got some PMs at the same time and read them, and the only way to get rid of the notifications is to read them again through the chat.

This is correct, the notifications in the chat bar and the actual read status of PMs are separate, there's no easy way to tie the two together really I'm afraid!
 
It's very slow today. Takes ages for threads to load up. Don't think it's me as other sites are fine!
 
It's also affecting the amount of members that are coming on here too, think you should move servers guys, it's letting the site down :(
 
Ironically, it does seem to be quicker now! Although we're still going to move, I want it to be this fast (or faster) all the time! :)
