The most common place to jack a car up is on the sills where the jacking points are. But like you said the older a car is, the more likely it is for the sills to collapse.

Know that but the last thing I expected was it to collapse lol. But you live and learn :rolleyes:

Disheartened when the rear drivers side jacking point collapsed. Sills on both sides are fooked :( need to get them cut out and patched and I need a new full exhaust system :(

Got the headlights off and the passenger side wing off and started to getting the bodywork repaired. Pics: Temp patch job on the back to perp for the full pannel to be repainted.

Widtd: put the sound deadening pads in and refitted the carpet and front seats. Took all day to get the seats in and refit the plastics. I'll be getting more pads for the back and ill be making a hardboard cutout of the boot to give a steady base for the shag pile lol :D Pics of the deadening...

Delay to the engine getting stepped out due to the construction of my new workshop. But a small update got sound deadening pads and i'll be putting them in tomorrow along with these sexy little things :D
