From searching parts websites and measuring my own clutch . 1 litre prefacelift clutch-160mm 16teeth But I can also get the same for 1.3 180mm 18teeth clutch won't fit my gearbox as it's 16teeth ? Does anyone know what one I've to find thanks

Hi, Just wondering has anyone every fully flushed a Micra engine bay? I've currently fully tucked mine and welded all the holes visible and gave them a light skim of filler. Wondering am I the first to do it properly ☺

My guess sensor was overtightened when built. Its welded and new sensor fitted with helicoil

So I found the problem. A crack in my block about 2 inches long. It cracked across the housing for the threads. No wonder it wouldn't seal. Block is out and away off getting welded , drilled and helicoiled with a new switch . let's hope it works .

Copper washer and plumber tape didn't work. Still flowing out like a tap

But how come the old one leaker even with sealant on it? The new ones threads are exact same and tighten home

Pulling my hair out with this problem was ment to go for cars nct (mot). And had to postpone with this issue.. Hope the washer sorts it. Should I put some sealant on threads as well with copper washer or leave on its own.

I'm going to try a copper washer tonight and see how I get on. Would I have to drill the hole bigger to accommodate the helicoil so original switcu can be fitted?

As title says, my engine oil pressure switch has pulled threads. I've tried new pressure switch, some sealant , plumbers tape and nothing seems to seal it. It tightens as a normal thread would but still seams to leak by. Anyone ever had this problem before or any suggestions?

Fixed, dodgey wiring at back of engine control relay.

Have no spark either , I'll look at switcg
