Has anyone ever fitted superlites? Mine are 7 inch wide I think with a 175/50/13 tyre but don't. They obviously poke out, doesn't concern me...its the bounce in the back...If I go any higher it just leaves abnormal wheel gap, matiz setup in the front is firm enough to cope. Anyone tried it or...

Personally i'd lower it, get rid of all the chrome and park it by the sea. Instant cools. Don't forget the "Bear-Stone"...you can make your own with a tin of black hammerite.

Make a list, that's what I did. Don't do anything not on the list until you've finished everything on it...then you'll stay focused. Works for me on all of my builds!

Lol! I can't do that! I don't know how 13s will help to be fair. Even with small tyres it's too close to the ground. The centre cross member bounces across cats eyes! If I'm putting any 13s on it'll be my superlites! :P

Yeah sadly! I'd probably get away with 10mm and some tyre stretch. Try that first before I go welding again! Be ideal for a diy coilover though this system! Mk2 escorts do a similar thing where you buy the threaded coilover section and modify the perch and fit 2 threaded sections.

If I space the micra top mount off the tower inside the wheel arch? At the minute I'm thumping cats eye with that centre engine brace thing. I don't fancy major work moving it or anything either! Lol.

I'm thinking about making a spacer for the top of the strut to space it off rather than adjust again...should work right?
