Regarding catch tanks, the only side on mine where oil vapour is present is on the left rear (to underneath intake)...the other filtered pipe never has any oil etc near it. Which is why i put a catch tank attached to left rear to try and eliminate some of the theoretical power stealing vapour /...
Actually one thing, i reeeeeeally hope you cleaned the calipers to stupidly clean...even after i thought i'd gotten them clean the paint still didn't dry and its a bitch to have to take it all back off again.
Nothing exciting really most of it went black again, calipers went white (seemed like a good idea at the time lol) not that you can see them hidden behind the wheels anyway.
Yeah i can listen to it if i turn it up a bit, well either cassettes (oh yes) or my mp3 player...radio was useless before and its even worse now the aerial is in a box somewhere. Like you, i prefer to hear what the engines doing. :D
Bit of a delay in replying...one thing to do if you haven't already started, is draw around where the old one is so you know where the new ones supposed to go.
That's how i welded mine back on (just matched the number of spots to new holes) :) While i was at it though i pretty much welded up...
Depends which bit you're replacing, i've replaced the whole front and just the lower section...there's nothing really to say other than if you see a spot weld grind it off and undo the bolts that go through the sides.
