I used to play pc and console games all the time. One issue i've always had with pc is the numerous times i'd bought a game that was within spec to find out it either didn't work or played horribly (for no real reason) and even more annoying when the demo ran 100%. Its mostly console stuff now...

My stock TB maf handled boost fine up until a point (high towards the limit - which you don't really need to be in anyway when running boost), it ran with no issues whatsoever for a good few years and still would be. Obviously mines not running a turbo but i'd expect a similar result for turbo...

nah that's the odd thing it seems ok. I ran her for a bit yesterday and apart from a very slight misfire i didn't notice anything else.

Contemplating take this engine apart so i can try and track down the oil leak...anyone know / remember how much valve stem oil seals, head gaskets cost? (as i remember a couple of people buying these recently). Or any other ideas on where the leak maybe coming from. :)

The tps can go anywhere where you can match the rotation. Throttle pedal pivot, custom mod to the carbs or similar are probably doable. :)

Car insurance is up -- currently not renewed. MOT will be due and road tax in a month....uuurgh. Seriously deciding if to keep or start looking for a couple of cars i wouldn't mind owning.

Just checking you've fitted the correct spark plugs? as you need different ones for the coil packs as opposed to the type used in the dizzy engines. Only mentioning it so you don't have the hassle of eml lights and dodgy running later on. :)

Agreed i've "finished" my build at least 8 times now.

Possibly the easiest way is gonna be a trip to the scrap yard.
