Everything is adjusted correctly yeah? as there's a few different items that all need setting up. That may account for no drive, if the cables are making the box / ecu think you're somewhere between the two gears. It's a similar intermittent fault i had, and i eventually started think maybe...

I was thinking flywheel attached to second engines pulley, but that's for another day haha. Its been done with other engines no problem so all in all pretty easy minus space issues.

I'm already a lost cause though :D In fact i was wondering a few months ago how hard it'd be to join up two k11 engines to make an 8 cylinder + boost, you'd be forced to go rwd / modify the front end a bit but that's a minor detail. Again no good reason haha.

"seems like a good idea" is about the only reason i have for my build.

The stupid thing is all this chatter has had me staring in the engine bay, the last time i remember the same type of thinking a supercharger found its way in. If anything though i'd probably focus on getting a little bit more out the sc (there is spare boost lurking), plus i get funny enough...

Tbh there's probably one place it might fit. It would be sooooo tight though, i can barely get my hands in around that area now. :)

Ah well we've got tons of room to play with then. Haha yeah tons of space in a k10 bay compared with the k11.

So far its been pretty solid, in fact (and i'm probably tempting fate here) the only issue i've had or maybe the only issue i currently know about lol was from a drive belt being destroyed after a bolt backed out and even then i can't really blame the sc for that. It's done what i wanted it to...

lol. Nah i don't think there's any chance of getting a turbo anywhere in the engine bay...actually how far away can you get away from the engine bay before the parts are classed as in the street?

Its an SC12 from a MR2, yeah there's a bit of weight to it.

If only i could get a camera in (i'm aware how bad i was at documenting the fitting process). Buuuut it really just boils down to a few bolts, a couple bits of pipe and little bit of wiring. :D

I'm pretty sure my dyno graphs are in the build thread somewhere (if that helps anyone)...the results on that were with a questionable fuel map (lean and rich in places - hadn't finished the map and the dyno run was used as r&d :D) but the engine ran out of revs before the supercharger did...

Pah, that's the kind of thinking that's put this country where it is now. *cue national anthem and superimposed waving flag* lol. I'd also consider it pretty straight forward. Though the bypass on mine was purely to help off boost breathing.

Unfortunately its from underneath the car...checked the haynes and it just says to jack the car up, loosen the two adjuster nuts securing the inner cable to the control rod, then set the car into P (from inside car) then check underneath to make sure the gearbox is in the P location and gearbox...

Difficulty engaging gear can be selector cable adjustment issues. :)

I was meant to setup a bypass system on mine, never got around to it but its very simple to do. Doesn't matter how much boost you make if all it does is create smoke or put you into hedges... :D
