    White Super S - Whiskey's Blog

man I remember when my super s looked like that :D Sounds like a good project you've got going. Your fuel filler leak is usual fault, for the very reason you've found, it's designed nicely to collect mud, salt, moisture etc all the good things to cause rust :) You'll not stop using the dash...

    Successful gearbox removal

Always amazed me the mentality of the haynes manuals between k10 and k11 version on gearboxes. K10 yeah this is how it goes with a massive exploded diagram. K11 version eek its full of witches and snakes keep away.

Porks bike carbs and boost project

Basically same as any welding but it depends how far it's gone on the inside as for how much time it'll take...i replaced the k11's on mine without any issues. SC sounds insane, can't even hear the one on mine :D

Its finding someone who's happy with the responsibility and isn't concerned you might kill them if they mess up lol.

    Fuel ve tables

I've only done manual mapping. So can't comment on the software's auto tune. One thing is how does the car feel to you, if it's noticeably under / over fueling maybe review the map and adjust. You'll probably sort it quicker as i'd assume the software will want a few goes at it before it starts...

    Crank seal?

You might know this by now. If it is the crank seal, its easy enough to buy the part and remove the old one...fitting the new bit is just a case of greasing it up and tapping it into place. Biggest hassle is getting in to do it and buying / borrowing a socket big and short enough to get the nut...

revs are not idle revving up an down on its own..

Easiest place to start. Seeing as you've swapped out the engine and problem still exists between the two. Vac leaks would be worth looking for as well.

    PollyMobiles Rebuild

Paul, pretty sure they're the same studs i've got on mine without issues (apart from drum clearance where the splines come a little bit too far through -- nothing a drill bit didn't solve.). Even installed them with just a suitable nut and some sockets / washers to spread the load all heavily...

Is it just me then that actually quite likes sanding??? I've never used any panel cleaning stuff before painting...just always washed with soapy water to get any paint residue off and then away with the primer once dry. :)
