    Porks supercharged k11 project

Yeah i know i had to cut and grind the bolt flush with the upper mounts and slowly prise them apart to get the rod out. I was swapping everything out though so i wasn't too fussed with how i got it out :D I can say nearly 100% the lower sleeve with be rusted solid but once you've got the upper...

    Porks supercharged k11 project

Panhard rod : A blow torch + mole grips + angle grinder + swearing = usually more swearing but eventually it'll come off. Chances are the metal sleeve that's in the lower bush (maybe also the upper if you're having trouble getting it out) will have rusted itself stuck. Just carefully remove...

    Porks supercharged k11 project

I believe all the manual linkages are the same, can't think of any reason they'd have altered them. We need more sc k11's about :D

    Leak near rear passenger wheel.

Yeah it'll be that if you've put as much as possible in. Swapping it over for a new one isn't very hard to do providing you can source a decent condition one to start with. Depending how bad the corrosion is you could also be loosing some when you're filling up. It is a common fault though. :)

    Leak near rear passenger wheel.

As its dripping from the fuel filler / breather pipe i'd be giving it a good look over. If its a fuel leak you wanna sort it asap. :)

    Help leak

Only external pipes on the passenger side are fuel and brake fluid. There can be leaks inside the car from the matrix if it starts to leak, but you'd notice that inside.

    Rear washer issue

If there is i didn't notice it before :D You could start at the jet end and pop off the connection, you might not need to go too deep into it before you fix it.

what did you do to your micra today ?

Not today, but fairly recently I, drum roll please....washed the car lol (figured its been sitting there for a few years so it deserved a clean). Probably a bad idea tbh as i'm now trying to decide if to put it back on the road...

    Rear washer issue

Actually thinking about it iirc the holes i used for access were also the spoiler mount bolt access holes. So failing that the larger grommets for the heated rear window or the really small grommets should get you where you need. Tbh i'd usually just start taking bits off until i found what i...

    Rear washer issue

There are little oval grommets in the corners of the boot lid removing those will get you to the pipe. Still not a lot of room to work but its enough to jiggle things. :) If its popped off the washer jet, which is most probably whats happened as they can block up if not used for a while. You...

Mig welding tips and advice pls

Best advice i'd say is to practice on spare pieces of metal the same thickness before you start on the car. You'll know almost immediately when you've got it right (verifying with the online resources as you go). The last thing you want, is to have to redo your old work because you're no longer...

Car won't start and oil in spark plug

I would reckon the oil in the spark plug tube will have come from a failed oil seal that goes around the spark plug tubes. (glued into cam cover). Provided yours has a distributor and is not coil pack. Its probably the distributor. Though as its easy to do, you may as well check the fuses.
