lol, that's slightly more depressing. Funnily enough it'll probably turn itself off if it does go...i had cooling fins and all sorts being obliterated on the inside lol. Luckily a quick trip to argos to claim on the warranty and 10 mins later brand new grinder :D

Just had to check out of curiosity and its standing roughly : 21" at the front and 22" at the rear...on 185/55 with 14" wheels.

Oil filter wise i just use genuine Nissan ones.

Take the wing off, you should be able to push most of it out by hand. :)

I can't remember if you can reach them all with the washer bottle in place (so you may need to unbolt it first), but yeah on a low car its quite the mission lol. Nissan certainly didn't want to hook coming off that's for sure.

There's a couple of bolts up the side as well. :)

Decided i should start to finish the IAV pipework as i'm fed up with having to hold the idle when its cold...trying to reverse, control the speed and stop while keeping the idle up is interesting. Im used to it now, but i'd prefer it to idle by itself haha. The car is fine once warm mind, sits...

Opening it up is easy enough, i'd have a spy even if there wasn't any concern just out of curiosity. :) My old gearbox had lots of fine metal in the oil (looked a bit like those limited edition J20's) and even opening it up there wasn't any obvious damage...it was swapped out as it had an oil...

I'd stick the manifold on, then if you want later on upgrade the rest of the system...you should notice the difference with just the manifold so may as well play with some of the parts while you're waiting / deciding. :)

Checking for metal in gearbox oil would probably have been the quickest way to tell :) I've gotta admit i dunno how you manage to kill so much stuff lol...you've gotta be in the lead for product limit testing :D

I usually only mark the backside of the dizzy where it touches the head at the front bolt hole using the flat to scribe a mark (thats probably not a very good description, but if you look at the dizzy on the car you should see what i'm on about :D). You can mark up both if you wish, but you'll...
