do you think if i have 15" alloys and 35mm lowering springs i would need arches rolled?!!

Although at 7j et25 the wheel isn't flush its just fairly minimal tuck. You could probably run 8j et0 with stiff suspension and stretched tyres

Probably more like 35 when you consider extra width and less offset as well.

Only smokes occasionally apparently, if I end up having it I can always swap engines or fix it. Garage it went to reckoned valve stems and.there's a few engines for grabs round here.

Valve stems need doing and some welding but its motd and taxed till middle of next year. Will make a fun runaround I think.

do you think if i have 15" alloys and 35mm lowering springs i would need arches rolled?!!

7j 25 will be about right for the back, might need a touch of camber on the front depending on tyres. Mine are 7j et35 and 2deg camber and just tuck in the arch at the front but I've not rolled the lip at all. On the back they're out to et25 using spacers and just tuck under the arch again but I...

So yours should be at about 3.5k rpm at 70 like mine. That won't change with a bigger engine in it'll just get there more easily. And swapping shouldn't be hard as long as you get an engine that's suitable ie coilpack like your 1l

Depends what 1l you have. Basically revs will be the same as when it was a 1l you'll just have tons more power. I never had a problem with mine. Just got a new box for the larger clutch really. Reason I say it depends is cause the late 1l have low ratios til 3rd then 4th and 5th are the same as...

what did you do to your micra today ?

Vw's are awesome didnt you know andy?? :P Actually theyre one of the things ive been avoiding in my googling today... 1.3 75bhp 0-60?

My 1.3 with a full cat back system, 1l gearbox and custom intake does 11.5 in the wet. My 1.0 with the same exhaust and intake running 1.3 cams and early model gearbox never came close to that. I'm very interested to see this video...
