Small update - found an engine. Less than 9k on it. One owner. Recent rear end. Woohoo grand total £160. Gotta love the bf and his negotiating skills.

My brakes are too good and my tyres are too rubbish. I keep skidding lol New tyres come pay day I think! Micra may become more a toy next year so I'm holding back on doing stuff

One MOT passed with 8 advisories. Hurrah

Finally did some stuff! I.e. filled a few holes (oops) removed a heat shield that annoyed me for 400 miles (grr) and sprayed up my wheels. MOT next week (fingers crossed) Oh and got 392 miles from a full tank. Rather pleased. Now to get the waxoyl out of my hair...

Yay! Hmm I pay 450 before extras on the Micra and 130 inc everything on the mini. Comparison sites want closer to 1500, sometimes pays to ring around.
