Any remaining rust can spread, unless you're going to cut out the area and put in fresh metal there's always a chance it can come back mate. At the very least you should think about rust treating it with por15 or BH product to save yourself doing it again within the next couple of years tbh.

Sold parts removed and new parts added

Although lighter/ened crank pulleys obviously allow a faster rotation there is a reason why they're dampened-to protect the longevity of the crank. The rubber on stock pulleys dampens/absorbs the shocks through normal road use and without that it could speed up deterioration of block internals...

I think in these types of instances it all depends on the individual as to how much it could possibly effect your driving. Legally speaking you would be liable to inform them to avoid a worst case scenario but it has to be said in these instances honesty is usually a detriment to your position-...

Making good progress mate. Did you need to modify/fabricate custom brackets for the mini rad? Is it bigger/thicker than standard? I've been looking for an uprated radiator and it seems that there aren't any Micra specific ones available, which is boring.

You might need to remove the drums in order to adjust the cable tbh mate. I'm not too familiar with drum brakes though as it's been years since I've owned a car with them fitted but I'll be sorting mine this summer too.

Front bumper and bonnet sold

As per pm I think you was thinking about auto to manual conversion where you'd need clutch, pedals, selector etc. To swap an engine they're identical.

Yeah Gtir brakes mate. I was thinking £100 posted- got discs and pads although haven't checked how much use they have left, I was thinking any less than that and I'd rather get some new lines and keep them.

Edit- No it's a Sunny (Almera replaced it I think) but Japanese turbo version, not sure if the brakes are different. Will come with everything because they'll be removed from this..
