Yes it's a quick bolt off-bolt on jobby and you could do it yourself in half an hour mate. If not a garage shouldn't charge you more than £40.

I've got one, doesn't have the brake light cut-out either. £40 delivered or £30 collected from Nottingham.

Is it CVT or geared auto mate? Apparently whining noise on CVT is not unusual and if you haven't already done so a fluid change will be beneficial.
