    Juddering underload possible maf?

If you've changed your filter I'd focus on the MAF mate, even if the tanks dirty, with having a new filter it wouldn't clog up that quick. Sounds to me that your maf isn't calculating air correctly, hence the hesitation.

    Juddering underload possible maf?

You've changed your plugs, leads and cap so it leaves air or fuel now. I think it's likely to be your MAF but also worth changing your fuel filter. Depending on when it was last changed they do get clogged up with **** especially if you're constantly getting down to empty before fuelling up and...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

Touche. Given the importance of h+s and the dangers of batteries I'm flabbergasted that there's no mention of PPE is shown in your argument....

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

Hahaha I didn't think you would understand or have answers somehow... Guess logic and reason go way over your head...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

Just to clarify (again) the time is 1 minute, he said he could do it in 30 seconds because he's the jedi of the Yuasa corporation technical datasheet of installation.. 1 minute is more than enough time to replace the battery and connections without going reckless and forgetting the impending...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

I agree, nothing wrong with a constructive debate. However I think we verged on ridiculous a while ago now? I think even yourself can see that you're going overboard with that aspect just to somehow validate your own method? I'm still struggling to see how yours is anymore safe than his...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

I realise it looks like I'm being a ****- I just feel the need to comment to put my point across, no offence intended it's done in a light hearted way. You're obviously looking out for the safety of others, which is obviously a good thing :)

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

You need no training to change a battery, experience? Not so sure tbh, it's a case of remove 2 connectors (which are either colour coded or sign posted) and moving a block to put another block in its place and replace the connectors- if you can work a spanner correctly then you can do that- if...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

Mate, as you'll no doubt know, pretty much anything electrical has the potential to be dangerous, including every household appliance that we use everyday without second thought and most of us can do so without being reckless. It's also worth noting that ANY battery has the potential to...

Vibration on steering wheel, pedals and dashboard when idle

If it needed a coil it would be misfiring at idle, which "could" vibrate but only when it's missing, not constantly- you would also more than likely notice the miss under load in some form- hesitation, drop in revs, backfire etc If it's vibrating continuously at idle then it's unlikely a coil...

How to Change a car battery without losing the radio/cd security code?

Really? Don't get me wrong the method of using a battery charger, if you have one, makes sense and is straight forward. But let's not make out changing a battery has the same safety implications of defusing a bomb or complexity of a Rubix eh. If it takes you longer than a minute to physically...

    Edge's Z10 Ice Cube

Next jobs are- Fit the Nismo panhard rod- it states on the leaflet that it's "special" steel- well it's certainly not stainless because the silver paint has flaked badly and there's rust so this will need stripping back and painting. Tracking- since fitting the coilover's, the steering doesn't...

Right weather has stopped play today but I did get a fair bit done yesterday. Fitted- Cusco coilovers- Top quality suspension with pillow ball top mounts made specifically for the Micra/Cube- I'm not slamming it with it being my daily and carrying the kids but it gives me the option when going...

Why? lol. I wasn't trying to be harsh, its worth documenting everything you do, but my point was there's not a lot you can say to that. Fwiw you've made good progress and it's good to see someone putting time and effort in restoring/correcting these rather than sticking crap on from Halfords...

Do it to document everything you do to it mate, that way if you get comments then great, if you don't then it doesn't matter. Tbf how many comments were you expecting for fitting mudflaps? Lol Keep at it and I'm sure as you go a long you'll generate more interest

    PollyMobiles Rebuild

No, never seen it in the UK mate. Only seen it on some Japanese exhausts, possibly used for track days with strict noise control.

From what I've ever seen Helmholtz resonators are usually installed near the back box- a few JDM tuning companies use them that way.

How much should I pay for distributor and cap?

I've got a good one with leads thrown in. You can have the lot for £20 posted if you're interested. Cheers

    Edge's Z10 Ice Cube

Here's the difference between the newer JDM 1 pots and the older ones (which I'm assuming are the same size as Micra ones?). Disc shield needed trimming to allow for the size difference. Endless pads are well worth considering if you're look for a higher end pad. Will be fitting the coilovers...
