Took my second cat off to make a jig from it, horrified to see the pipe diameter transitions [emoji32], the carbon deposits show how large the cat bore is compared to the exhaust pipe. Can't be good for smooth flow eh.

Back to logging :D Andy, a large consideration is the required frequency of logging. I assume the pots will be wheel displacement? Will need a high frequency logger IMO. A few hundred Hz

Errr, yes if on a track :D but tbh, I dont think the second cat does a whole lot so it might well pass the MOT with a second decat, if so then yes it would be legal :) These will be second decats to start with :) primary cats its hard to get the flow much better than just knocking the honeycomb...

but impossible if you want to complete your degree in 3 years eh. Andy, I guarantee that some of the stuff I learnt at uni would help you do suspension setup quicker and more accurately. Big race teams rely very heavily on dynamic simulation for setup optimisation for a reason IMO :)
