So although I don't require a maf sensor. I forgot I used the temp sensor in it for air intake temp. Fortunately I've got a couple of GM air temp sensors, so I'll add one into the air box. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

So, managed to fill the maf sensor hole. All sanded down. Just need to fit it and try it out now. But it's raining and I don't work in the rain. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

what did you do to your micra today ?

Those actuators seem to let a lot of moisture in. I resealed mine after cleaning it out with a bead of silicone around the edge to stop any more water ingress. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

Let's get rid of it. I don't need it anyway. That's better. Just need to block up the hole in the side now. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

What does restrict the airflow though is the maf sensor. Look at the size compared to the venturi. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

Pop off the c-clip. Start to remove the air guide. And lastly the particle filter. Lot of gubbins there that I don't require restricting the airflow. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

Thought I'd mess around with my spare throttle body. It's the one I was using to test out my Megasquirt MS3X ecu. Let's have a look inside. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

    Indicator flasher speed modification?

You could replace the timed relay with a normal one and power it using a simple 555 timer circuit. With the correct capacitor/resistor you'll be able to get the required result. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

You can't get what I used. I would suggest you get a can of waxoyl spray as that will be sufficient. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

New tyres required. Cheaper to get them online from Germany and then pop round to the fitters to have them put on. How mad is that! Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

How do you replace the thermostat?

The thermostat housing can be sealed with a liquid gasket sealant. There's a groove in the housing you need to clean out the old stuff from it to make sure it seals well on refitting. I had to loosen the metal water pipe slightly to get to it easier. It's just a 30 min job really. Takes longer...

Monroe Reflex I use. Never had an issue. They are quite pricey though compared to some others. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

    2002 brake calliper.

Just clean up your seized one. It's around £18 for a full seal kit. That's all I did with mine. Good as new. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk

    K11 Maybe for sale

It's a really poor do when your mechanic won't do a headgasket on what is one of the simplest and easiest cars to work on that was ever built. Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
