I've done some videos of building the Speeduino up and what I use along with how to solder the components on. I need to edit them first. I'll put them on YouTube and post links. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Yes you could use it for the dizzy ones. It really is much easier though to fit a 36-1 toothed wheel on the front pully and a sensor. If I get time I'll investigate the dizzy option. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

OK, maybe some of you would like to know about soldering and how to put components on a pcb. I forget sometimes as I've messed with electronics for 40yrs. If you let me know what you'd like to see/know I can work something out. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

I'm not going to do a tutorial on building it up, as it's literally just soldering components that are numbered to the board. Also, this is for a coilpack Micra, not the dizzy one. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Assembly of the Speeduino has begun. Shouldn't take too long, as its not as complex as the Megasquirt I did a few years ago. You don't need to be particularly adept at soldering with this board it seems. That's a good thing, as more people could have a go and get themselves a standalone ecu...

Speeduino standalone engine management has become quite popular recently. A few people have mentioned it in the forums so I thought let's get one and fit it to my spare Micra. I'll try and make it as plug and play as possible using all the original sensors. Fully sequential fuel and spark for...

    1 Litre to 1.4 swap micra k11

Yes you can remove the aircon. You'll need your non aircon engine alternator mounts and the likes to swap stuff over and tension the belt up. Its a straight swap 1 to 1.4. I'd swap the ecu as well as its a lot better with the 1.4 one. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

I asked before realising that the car is l/h drive which routes the flexible ac pipe away from the turbo unlike the r/h drive where it crosses the turbo. Sent from my CMR-W09 using Tapatalk

There's places already on the engine block you can fit one of the bosch knock sensors if you choose to use them. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

    ECU Upgrade Options

You can assemble it yourself(especially the Speeduino) and save yourself quite a bit. If you want to know what's involved, the assembly of my Megasquirt is in my blog. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

    ECU Upgrade Options

You could put a Speeduino on it. They're only cheap and the software is free. I run a Megasquirt m3x on mine but that's more expensive. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

It was the actual unit itself. I ended up drilling the rivets out and sorting it. I tapped the holes and screwed it back together. It's fine now. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

On some of the coilpack ones it stops at the connector just after the ecu. Just tap into it from behind the ecu connector. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Added some connectors from the wideband to the Megasquirt ecu. Something I'd been meaning to do for ages but never got round to. Also needed to fix the rear wiper as the rains have now arrived. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk

Now that the black car is on coilovers. I might as well put the old lowering springs on the spare car. Off to the alignment centre again. Sent from my ANE-LX1 using Tapatalk
