no you need extra support to prevent it rotating in a crash, google "harness bar" to get an idea of what i mean
to give you an idea of what you are dealing with (and this is very rough maths) in a 30mph crash, if your car was to stop instantly with no give in the chassis or what it crashed...
thanks, but its going in the cabriolet, so no C pillars, the seatbelts mount down in the bottom of the boot. i will be building a mount in the parcel shelf well where the roof folds into
where are you reading this Arnold? because i am not sure that is right,
the only difference between a normal seatbelt and a harness is the extra mounting point to restrain your other shoulder. its better because you don't twist in the event of a front end crash.

if the shaft is in two bits you just tug on it and it should come out of the gearbox fine (expect loads of oil to come too...if Kristian actually filled it up) the other side you will have to take the nut off the end.
i am sure there are plenty of people on this forum who could help you turn it into a beast. if you did a build blog so people could see it being properly built, it would probably sell really quickly, or you just keep it.

just so people understand, the dash cup holder is an insanely rare black one, you wont see another one like this. grey ones are easy to find compared to this
