The alternator generates ac, but its rectified to dc for the car by the diodes in the alternator. And the xenon bulbs need ballasts( transformers) to be lit up. The transformers have dc input but can have dc or ac output to the bulb

Iirc they were replaced with like a new design or something, chloe eas quite hapoy with tge new ones

Legally the wont pass itv (spanish mot) without paying an engineer etc lots of hassle. But with the police ive had no problems, seeing as they dont blind ither driver and have the straight line cutoff (bixenon) theyre just like stock lights. If u get them get ac ballasts, the dc ones are not...

Make them mate, you can buy the prjectors from aliexpress pretty cheap. Then retrofit them into 2nd facelift headlights. Spray matte black and your done

Its just a high quality zinc etch primer isnt it? You could use epoxy zinc primer, doesnt get better than that

Still has orange peel, will need to be sanded polished etc but hey still good for diy haha. First time water has ever been beady on my car, so proud

Thanks! The black paintjob was pretty ok until the sun made it wrinkle, it was on hammerite paint so didnt stand up to the heat. This time, its all proper car paint, epoxy primer etc, so itll last. Im thinking maybe infinitys blue meanie as a title?
