Sueded my doorcard....need to do the passenger one tomorrow, and reseal my headlights. Dunno what to do with the grey bits... might see can I get the material to cover them without creasing too badly

Ahhh yes true...so crank, rods, and cams? I'd keep the cg10 pistons for a high comp 1.3 n/a :) Postage would be a bastard alright but it'd be better than shipping an entire engine! Do you think a breaker would be arsed dropping out a crank and rods and shipping them?

How does the coilpack FPR differ from the Dizzy FPR ? A stock FPR and MAF would be nice...I'd like to keep as many components as possible stock at first and upgrade them as I go...should help getting it off the ground the less that changes!

Gave myself 15 bhp :) Started smoothing out my bumper... Gave it a quick blast of paint just to hide the filler during the week so it doesn't look too ridiculous:P bumper coming off at the weekend...more filler, a **** ton of primer and firmly crossed fingers! Gonna get fog light surrounds...

Finally cut the middle out of the other bonnet grille :P got some grille mesh in halfrauds and painted the silver bits black.... That plastic bumper paint has a lovely satin finish...i want the whole car satin black now!

Do you know what kind of RPM figures the motor/generator will have to run at ? Are you gonna use the car battery or a separate one? Savage project !!!
