IMHO the bottom brake light unit was not as reliable as the top brake light unit! The bottom unit suffered from flexing due to the momentum of shutting the boot causing loosening and weakening/failure of the units fixings! B-)

Today I extend the sunroof A pillar drainage hose and feed it out of the front passenger sill so no more water sitting in the sills and rotting them! B-)

Today I started to prep the boot lid roof gutter panel for welding by grinding off the sub support beam still got some trimming to do and manufacture strengthening pads to support the boot hinges! B-)
