    My new K11!

Ah ha! That's why I made adaptor looms when I did my March conversion. No changes made to the original plugs or wiring, and can be swapped back to stock in a few minutes. I wrote it up on my thread, along with the pin translations ect.

    My new K11!

I went for dual reverse and a separate fog light in the bumper. I reckon a long thin one would look cool in that slot where the bottom plastic bit is. Love the lights though, and still really wish I had that colour :(

I might just buy the parts separately, which brands would you recommend for plugs, filters and oil etc?

Need to service mine pretty soon. Found this service kit on eBay for a coilpack K11, would it be OK for a distributor model? http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/111488417138 And there's also this one which is non genuine but a bit cheaper: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/350592307445?_mwBanner=1

    Bonnet badge

Should be some light adhesive behind the badge. The pegs are for positioning really, but do offer some help with fixing

That graffiti paint is pretty good stuff I'm told. It's a single stage paint which is really easy to apply, but I'd at least put some matte lacquer on so you don't have to respray each time a bird craps on it. If you want a matte finish, orange peel might not be so bad.

    Mildred the Micra

Welded metal is prone to rust, since the protection on the metal you're joining is burned off during the welding process. To add to that, the joins themselves won't be protected as the metal used to weld could be different to the metal you're joining. It could be a number of reasons, but...

The cheapy ones do. These were a good make apparently, can't remember the brand but they normally retail for at least £800.

I don't know. A friend of mine bought a decent set of Golf Mk2 coilovers for a fraction of the price because they were old and a bit seized. He's refurbished them and they look like new. These probably just need a rebuild and a date with the wire wheel.

That's a nice price for a full respray. Is it cellulose or 2K?

As much as I agree that Micras are not as slow as the masses make them out to be, let's be realistic. A 1.0l engine (or even a 1.3l for that matter) is not going to beat a modern car with a higher engine capacity, not unless that car weighs more than 3 tons and you've done some serious...

I've just upgraded to a Primera, which I suppose is the Nissan equivalent, and the old man image they carry is what makes them the best sleeper cars.
