Threadlock and tighten to FT (f*cking tight).

We run Nistune piggy back, I have tried altering the idle point in the software but it makes no difference.

Ours is an early non-NATs car which didn't have A/C do all ECU's have A/C control?

Is there a way of using this to make the engine idle at this higher speed all the time? I have tried forcing the speedo to stay at 20mph or above but the idle stays the same.

Less drag I would suspect.

Do you think the partially opening thermostat caused you issues? We know number 3 is the weak spot, and my old rally engine the paint around no 3 flaked off with the heat but the other three were all ok. Is there an issue with the water flow around no 3?

Check if the rad fan is on all the time, if so the coolant sensor has failed. This causes similar symptoms.

I have never seen a CG engine that clean when opened up before.
