    Condensation or leak issue?

your boot slam panel looks black. have you painted it or has the car been in a rear end at some point and had it replaced? if it is black and you haven't painted it I'm afraid it's the latter. given that they haven't bothered to paint their I'd question the job and suggest it's a leak on a...

front subframe mounts would be worth an inspection too. oh and drop links (front subframe mount). fingers cross it's the latter as they are easier to replace.

Rear right red light not working, works only during braking . Changed the bulb, nothing . What's wrong

brake filament is a separate live but a shared earth so earth fault is ruled out at least. bulb has 2 filaments, you should be able to see if one is broken. check the old and the new bulb (check the simple stuff first). then clean the contacts in the bulb holder (next simplist to check). if...

Best repair for tear in rubber weatherstripping?

It's a blown rubber material (most likely not rubber but epdm) not much will stick and hold. You could try vulcanising rubber cement and a patch (think inner tube) but it won't last a day I wouldn't have thought.

    Nissan K12 on Motorways

Fitted and setup correctly then lowering a vehicle is no less safe than running stock (within reason, putting a car so low it scrapes arches and bump steers is a different matter). That's from an engineer with 20+ years in design, vehicle systems and safety. Fitted badly, poorly setup and...

    Nissan K12 on Motorways

I've been wondering about the clio 172 2.0. Excluding the fact its French it was a pretty good motor and should slot in relatively easy. To be honest though, the 1.6 is fairly spritly and I very done a good 5k on motorways this year in Dot the cc without any real complaints. Also wondering...

    Micra Urban Van.

The rocker should come with the cable as a unit. If it doesn't your going to have to spread the rocker.

    Micra Urban Van.

only sheath is dead, but yes, replace it. auto adjusters not being even is fine as long as the shoes are the same distance from the drum. that's what they are for and they will adjust to correct location after following procedure described in manual.

    Thoughts on wide angle mirrors?

It's never been an issue for me I can't say as I've ever really noticed enough of a difference from one car to the next (my golf is old enough that legally it doesn't need two mirrors, wifes is modern and has this and Dot has it). I don't remember ever getting used to it, but I guess I must have...

Replacing Wing Mirror - Heated or Non Heated - 2008 Model?

not heated. 3 wires are motor drive for adjustment. plug should be grey and 6 pin which looks correct to me. :) heating should have another 2 wires (perhaps 3 if it's got PID feedback and given it's a 6 wire connector 3 seems likely). not sure if the K12 ever came with heated mirrors, there is...

    Micra Urban Van.

No, the twist is interesting. Didn't see that. Cable stretch won't cause that, but the rocker cable might. Out of balance shoe adjustment shouldn't do it either. Out if interest does one cable hang lower than the other? You might have 2 right hand cables (used to be really common due to...

    Micra Urban Van.

more likely to be drum wear than cable stretch (unless you have the arms of a gorilla). or that one side isn't yet adjusted to match the other. sooooo the point of the cable rocker is to take up any misalignment in the system, both in the cables (5-10mm difference) and in the drum wear and...

    So what's the 160sr like?

Anti stall and throttle position calibration. One you get used to, the other you need to run a reset. https://www.micra.org.uk/threads/has-anyone-reset-the-throttle-pedal-position-or-throttle-valve-position.66422/

    Replacing K12 roof aerial

I don't remember pulling the headliner on mine when I changed the seal. Some years ago I did it on a ex girlfriends k12 too, seem to remember using a ratchet spanner but that's it. Having said that, mines a cc so it's possibly different and I may have slide the liner off from one pillar and...
